As more fire departments began utilizing positive pressure ventilation as a primary attack weapon, they have requested more and larger PPV blowers. Evidence in the field shows that even with modern grouping techniques, existing PPV's were not of sufficient size and power to maintain pressure and flow in buildings with vast amounts of open space, such as large gymnasiums, warehouses, shopping malls, convention halls and high rise buildings. Super Vac has conquered this problem with the creation of the BFF-502, a PPV blower with a gigantic 8 blade carbon fiber prop, powered by a fuel injected Chevy 502 engine that produces over 750,000 cfm of fresh air, removing smoke, contaminants and providing cool, clean air for victims, workers, and emergency personnel.
